The perfect combination of Yin Yoga and Breathwork.
Join us for a 2 hour flow beginning with a heart opening ceremonial cacao before creating space and deep presence in the body with gentle, guided restorative breathwork to melt any mental or physical stress, bringing the body, mind and nervous system into coherence and presence. We then transition into a 60 minute yin yoga session allowing expansion and grounding to the physical body, releasing stored energy or tension and creating harmony within.
The benefits of breathwork are multifaceted and our approach is with extra support, with a deep undertstanding of the nervous system through trauma informed lens. Our breathwork is somatically oriented to provide an experience that connects you to your individual body and energy, providing an empowering space to release and integrate stress in a way that will support you most as a unique individual. This breathwork session provides you with the guidance and space to activate your bodies natural healing abilities, leaving you with a sense of expansion within the body, a calm, clear mind and a spark in your heart.
Yin yoga is a modern, passive practice, our flow is suitable for all levels of experience. Yin works of the deeper connective tissue through the body to release energy and tension and stimulate circulation of nutrient rich blood flow as well as lifeorce energy flow to the whole being. Yin is a practice that works on the body meridians, organs and energetic centres (chakras) and creates an overall sense of peace and calm to the mind, body and spirit. In a world that is fast and busy, with much to ‘do’, yin is the perfect way to rebalance.
Breathwork and Yin both provide us with an opportunity to deactivate stress, reduce anxiety, calm busy minds, become more present and connected to the beautiful things in life, expand our self awareness, connect back to our hearts and FEEL AMAZING!
